What to Pair with Serenity: Our Raspberry Chocolate Wine

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, we thought that it was a good time to talk about one of our favorite dessert wines, Serenity! Serenity is one of those wines that feels like a treat all on its own. With rich chocolate notes layered with bright raspberry flavor, this wine is smooth, indulgent, and just a little bit nostalgic. While it’s delicious to sip solo, the right pairing can make it shine even more.
Cheese is a natural match. Creamy cheeses like brie or mascarpone complement Serenity’s chocolate richness, while a mild goat cheese adds a tangy contrast that highlights the raspberry notes. For something simple, try cream cheese on a lightly sweet cracker.

Desserts don’t have to be complicated.
Dark chocolate truffles, brownies, or chocolate-covered raspberries echo the wine’s flavors beautifully. Vanilla-based desserts—like cheesecake or shortbread cookies—also work well by letting Serenity take center stage.

Surprisingly, savory can work too.
Salted nuts, especially almonds or hazelnuts, bring out the depth of the chocolate. A charcuterie board with cured meats and a touch of sweetness (like dried cherries) creates a fun sweet-savory balance.

Whether you’re enjoying Serenity by the fire, sharing it with friends, or ending a cozy meal, these pairings help turn a glass into an experience. Sometimes, a little chocolate and raspberry really is all you need.
