Wondering what wines to pair with the upcoming Easter dinner? Here are some ideas! ![]() Ham: Ham pairs well with white wines that have a touch of sweetness. We suggest Eagles Landing Volga Lake Blush, our award-winning Constance, or to go even sweeter, perhaps the Oktoberbest. Roast Chicken: As the saying goes, chicken goes with anything! We recommend pairing your roaster chicken with Petite Pearl, Volga Lake Blush, or Lil' Sippi, a sweet Moscato. Lamb: To go with lamb's slightly gamey taste, try a strong red. Eagles Landing Outstanding Red Reserve or Petite Pearl would pair well with your lamb cut. Roast Beef: Rich, fatty cuts of roast beef will need a wine with more tannin, like Outstanding Red Reserve. If you are cooking up a leaner cut, choose an aged wine in which the tannins have softened. We suggest Mr. Sippi. After dinner, try a special dessert wine! Caramel Apple, Serenity (raspberry), and Autumn Splendor (blackberry) are perfect for after-dinner sipping. Happy Easter, friends! Comments are closed.
